Chameleon Submitter

Someone please tell me what I am doing wrong.

I get error messages when submitting TPG's saying to many links. I have 5 of page links, on to my site, one to the 2275 info page, and three receipt links place there by chameleon.

The thumbs and images are all in the same directory and I even use a gallery that was submitted on the galleries as a template, and it still denied

Could you please post here a list of sites saying 'too many links'? An example of your gallery would also be appreciated.

Next time I submit a TPG I will

My galleries have 12 thumbnails and at most 6 links and as i said we copied and use a template of a gallery that has be successfully submitted to one of the below.

I contact them, I have a partner account for one or two.

Teen Affection has been removed from our database already on 2008-03-10. So if you still have it in your database for any reason please delete it manually. Open the database (Database menu > Show), select the site row and choose Delete Site from the context menu (right-click to open it).

Maclinks - "Capitalize only the first letter in your description or risk immediate deletion!" isn't an error message, it's just a notification available above the submission form (visible both before as well as after the submit).

Stockings hoes and tights - accepts at least 10 pics / 3 movies (30 max). Not sure how many pics/movies contains your gallery... an example would be appreciated....

The Darkest Pain - seems to be running fine, with success results so please try to submit your gallery to the site once again.

As for other results, you gallery really seems to contain over 10 outgoing links... anyway, a list of your submitted galleries to the sites would help....

stocking hoe etc and unifrom cutties are run by Uniform Taboo, I emailed them inthe past but no luck, the problem with them is they share some of the same content as us and there fore will not post our galleries.

we have not sold them content in over two years that has been none exclusive

Yes I been told that i follow all the tips, but I even made a page in the past with no links out just to test, and I still got, you have more then 10 links.

Well, I was interested in your concrete gallery URL's - with the recips to the submitted sites...

Anyway, I just went through all your reported sites and compared your results with our results and well, 99% of them have been submitted with success.
So there might also be a problem with your server settings (e.g. with your .htaccess file - it might redirect your galleries, etc.)... not sure though.
Also, I don't recommend you to submit galleries from subdomains, they are rarely accepted...

We don't have an htaccess file on that domain that would effect any TPG's, but I know that some galleries will not access sub domains. And I can accept that, that is not the problem.

The problem is when I get an error message say I have 10 or more link when I don’t or when it say I have less than 10 thumbnails when I have 12.

Error message which are wrong, and despite what you say no one on these site are willing to give you help, that is if you can find an email address on them to contact them.

Is it not possible just to place a universal template? or form a standard strategy so that all TPG host conform to the same rule on their submit pages. Because I am only get 60 – 70% out of chameleon

That's exactly why I guess there might be a problem with your server.

For some reason, the site scripts aren't able to correctly read & recognize your gallery content (like e.g. the # of pics, the recips, etc.)... maybe because they are not able to access your gallery (it might be redirected based on the visitor IP's, etc. )....

Of course, I am only guessing that, but if all other galleries submitted from other domains are successfully submitted/accepted by the site scripts then there's probably an issue at your end.

All I can recommend at this point is to check & fix your server settings or ask your server admin to do that.

I don't think it is that, as today i remove some of the links fromt he thumbnails tot he larger images, I was still getting not enough thumbnail images but the links message had gone!

My hosting is with dreamhost, if someone could let me know if it is down to them I would be greatfull, as it will be the last nail in the coffin for them.

If there is a problme I know they will not fixed it. i have stopped using sub domains now, it has not had much effect

Even though this is an old thread I thought I would update it some with my input because this issue is starting to arise again with all these fancy php posts and stuff.

The problem is mostl likely your template. If you are using a header for instance that is broken up into 6 sections and is pulling the images from a separate folder, some TGP managers will read them as additional links or thumbs . This is more the fault of the tgp owner not knowing how to set up the software properly to distinguish from a image link in and a external links . Best way to avoid these problems is to get back to basics and make a clean tgp page with no template and just one banner link out to the site advertised. Here is an example that gets excepted on every TGP site I know of and thats alot.

The header is one solid jpeg image the thumb gallery was created by Express Thumbnail Creator with all the bells and whistles turned off. One large banner and one small with a compliance link at the bottom. Total links here are 6 on some sites and 5 on sites that have a webmaster that knows what there doing.. Hope that helps a bit.. If not then you server host is adding invisible trackes or spyware to your html pages... I'm sure chameleon has run into that issue before LOL.
