Chameleon Submitter

Hi all. First I'd like to thanks those making good submissions to my site and to keep up the great job! Now there is an issue that needs to be addressed so listen up. Many of you are submitting and using the banner button option for a recip. link back to my site but you are not uploading the small icon to your server. This means when the page loads the button shows up as a broken image and this is unexceptable even if the link is active. The broken image cheapens the post and also makes it look like my site may be offline. When I recieve these broken posts I mail you and then move the submission to a hold folder for 5 days and if the error has not been fixed then it is deleted from the data base. This rule is strongly displayed on the submition page. Now if this is a problem for you to use a graphic recipt. link back then a text link is just fine to use. I have about 200 submissions in my hold folder at any given time and it seems to be mostly posts from a handful of people that never check that mail account they set up for their chameleon's account or the email addy is invalid. Please check your submission before submitting and this problem will not occur. I am spending way too much time mailing back submitters and alot of these post are really hot stuff so get your butts in gear and pay attention to your work. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I am sorry you're getting so many broken posts, seems like they really do not check their galleries before submitting
If you wish we can switch your recip to a simple text link (or a html recip with no graphic included) to all our users, just let me know what you prefer.

I Have alway excepted both , text or banner. Just so long as it is visible. I've even had someone post my recip. link in text the same color as the back ground so it was invisible LOL ! What do some people think eh....

No problem. Seems like people are getting with the program now and I am getting less broken links or they switched to text links which is just fine. Set up a new picture gallery area and a movie page to try and draw more traffic and returning traffic so your posts and mine get more exposure.. Site is doing just fine for being less than 4 months old... Keep them awsome galleries coming !!!
