LL Submitter not adjusting image links

Postby firecat » Tue Feb 03, 2009 7:32 pm

OK, LL Submitter is officially driving me nuts, and this is just the demo version -- I'm scared to pay for the real thing.

It's not adjusting the image links in the duplicated galleries. It will duplicate index.html to separate file folders for recip groups, but will not adjust the links within the new index.html files to point correctly to the images & gallery folders at the root. "Adjust relative links" is checked, but it's NOT adjusting them. What am I doing wrong?

Site setup:

gallery1folder (folder -- contains index.html for gallery and images folder for the girl pics & thumbs)
gallery2 (folder -- contains index.html for gallery and images folder for the girl pics & thumbs)
images (folder -- all site banners & ad images are here)
index.html (the main freesite index page that I want duplicated -- has image links pointing to the images folder and a link to the galleries.html file)
galleries.html (the gallery page also to be duplicated -- has image links pointing to the images folder and links to the index.html files within the two gallery folders)

Please note that the free demo version has a limited functionality only! The demo has been created for all those who wish to check the interface of the software or go through the complete tutorial (Help menu > Help)... not all of its options/features are activated...

As I have previously mentioned, the LL submitter doesn't support duplication of subfolders or files saved in the subfolders. If you wish to duplicate any other files (e.g. main page, galleries, etc.) in addition to your freesite index page they need to be saved in the common folder with your freesite index page.

When 'Adjust relative links in all duplicated pages' is checked, a BASE element containing the URL address set in the Base URL field in Step 1, is inserted in the source codes of all duplicated pages. This will ensure that the links which are linked relatively (e.g. links to images, links to other pages on the same domain, etc.) are displayed correctly in all duplicated pages.
