dead sites in db

Postby Smitty » Tue Oct 26, 2010 8:14 am

is there a thread for this kind of problem ? sorry i'm new around here.

www.debbienomad.com keeps saying: Some of the information you have submitted is blacklisted from our TGP: ns.webair.net

i tried to email them at webmistress@debbienomad.com on both my accounts (isp & gmail), no go, even the mail bounces.

If you want to skip this site from generating/submitting go to the database (Database menu > Show), double-click on the site row to open its settings (or choose Edit Site from the context menu) and uncheck Enable to Generate in General tab. Then click OK to save/close the settings.

thanks, but any ideas what is this ns.webair.net thing about ?

i googled and found that its used in allot of servers, porn and mainstream ones, not sure what it has to do with me, maybe my ip was a long time ago in one of those servers.

i have a dynamic ip so it changes every time i reset the modem.

say, can i use a proxy to bypass this restriction?

It''s about your domain's host server so using a proxy wouldn't probably help in your case.

you're right, i spoke with the website owner i do business with, their server's host uses webair, not me or the route from my puter using submitter to the tgp site.

same thing for www.40best.com who likes to test the upload speed of the server, its on a 25mbits fiber optic yet they only see it go at 25KB/s, bad script.

So there's nothing i can do about it on my end, so i'm just gonna have to disable them in the database until further notice.

Does anyone know how we can get in touch with either site's admins ?

Alot of TGP sites use automated scripts and one thing they will often check for is that 18 usc compliance statement on you submission. If u don't have it as a text link then they will reject the post saying that some of your posting is blacklisted. Its not really black listed. just rejected till you add the statement from the site you are submitting. Try that and see if it works for you.. use this text exactly.( you can also link it so it opens in a new window which most TGP sites prefere by adding the _blank tag ) That is what the script is looking for :

18 U.S.C. 2257 Record-Keeping Reguirements Compliance Statement
